Foundation

As I was between awake and asleep this morning, I had a vision. I saw a building that was swaying in the wind, and when I looked at the bottom of the building, it had no foundation. Then I saw the building when it was originally built, and it had a strong foundation. Next, I saw how the building lost its foundation. It was like when the table is set and somebody pulls the tablecloth out from under the dishes. A sudden disaster had removed the building's foundation, but the building was left standing. I get a sense for myself and many of us that we feel like this building. That the ground has been swept out from underneath us, and we are trying to find our balance. The Bible says that the cornerstone that the builders rejected became the cornerstone. It does take time to work on ourselves. But ultimately, the foundation that holds up is Jesus.
