For the sake of creating

FOR THE SAKE OF CREATING: This is one of those prophetic words I feel I need to write down for myself, not just my audience. Lately, I have been frustrated with the outcome of my income regarding being a content creator. But the Lord gave me a unique word this morning that really encouraged me. He whispered in my ear, "When I created the heavens and the Earth, when I created humankind was I creating them for a return on investment? No! I Create because I'm a Creator." God is love, so whatever He makes He makes in love. That includes you and me. These thoughts really challenge me to create, because I'm creative. Not to create thinking about how I can monetize what I've created. But instead to create for the joy of creating and sharing, hoping that what I create and share inspires others to follow Jesus.
